The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud and private cloud environments.
This role will work closely with Sales and Engineering teams to support customer-facing initiatives, internal platforms, and infrastructure modernization projects.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Build and maintain hybrid cloud environments integrating public cloud with private cloud infrastructureAdminister and support private cloud platforms including VMware ESX/ESXi and Windows Server Datacenter environmentsDeploy, configure, and manage Linux-based systems in cloud and on-prem environmentsImplement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation for provisioning and configuration managementMonitor infrastructure performance and ensure availability and reliabilityImplement security best practices across cloud and hybrid environmentsCollaborate with Sales and Engineering teams on solution design and deploymentsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure issuesDevelop and maintain documentation and standardsEvaluate technologies to improve scalability and efficiency
Requisitos
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred5+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineeringStrong experience with Microsoft Azure (required)Experience with AWS and Google Cloud PlatformExperience with VMware ESX/ESXi and Windows Server DatacenterStrong Linux administration skillsExperience with hybrid cloud environmentsKnowledge of networking fundamentalsExperience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Location
This position is primarily remote. Occasional travel and onsite presence at Sycomp’s office in Brazil will be required. Occasional virtual meetings and collaboration with team members is required. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer may need to be on-call to address critical incidents outside normal business hours. Limited travel to company sites may be necessary for hands-on projects or major system upgrades.
