Role Description
This is a long-term contract, remote Senior PowerBuilder Engineer role for a healthcare/dentistry client. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing a mission-critical desktop application that healthcare providers depend on daily.
The position requires someone with deep expertise in PowerBuilder who can work with legacy systems, ensure application stability, and support critical business operations in a healthcare environment.
Requisitos
• Minimum 5-7 years of professional PowerBuilder development experience
• Expert-level proficiency with PowerScript and
PowerBuilder IDE
• Strong experience with desktop application development and maintenance
• Proven ability to work with legacy codebases and systems
• Experience with Business Objects is a strong plus
• VB6, C++, or C# experience is beneficial
• Understanding of data security and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy is beneficial
• Strong SQL skills and database experience (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar)
• Comfortable working remotely and communicating clearly in English
• Located in Brazil or Latin America
