Role Description The Controller is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing all core accounting and financial control activities for the organization and designated client accounts. Daily tasks include managing general ledger entries, preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end close processes. The Controller will implement and maintain internal controls, review budgets and forecasts, and support compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role also partners with leadership to provide financial analysis, recommend process improvements, and support strategic decision-making. The Controller will collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams, supervise accounting staff as needed, and maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders.
Requisitos
Strong foundation in accounting and finance, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and budgeting (US GAAP)Experience with internal controls, audit preparation, risk management, and regulatory compliance.Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial analysis tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to accuracy and detail.Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage priorities, and meet deadlines independently.Prior experience in a Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar leadership role in finance or accounting.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional designation is preferred.
