Role OverviewAs a Hotel Receptionist at Chosan, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, handling inquiries by phone, email, and digital channels while ensuring a welcoming and professional experience from booking to checkout. Working closely with our operations and housekeeping teams, you'll keep property workflows running smoothly across multiple properties in a fast-paced remote environment. This is a hands-on, guest-facing role for someone who's reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for guests across phone, email, and digital channels, delivering warm and professional serviceManage reservations, including new bookings, modifications, extensions, and cancellationsProcess check-ins and check-outs accurately and on timeUpdate and maintain guest information and records in property management and reservation systemsCoordinate with operations and housekeeping teams to ensure units are ready and turnovers run smoothlyAddress guest requests and resolve issues promptly, escalating when neededProvide clear information on property policies, amenities, parking, and local logisticsFollow established procedures and uphold consistent standards of communication and serviceCollaborate with colleagues across locations to keep daily operations alignedMaintain accurate documentation and hand off open items clearly across shifts
QualificationsStrong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team membersReceptionist experience, including front desk operations and guest service proceduresReservations and phone etiquette skills to manage bookings, cancellations, and inquiries professionallyProficiency with basic computer systems and property management or reservation softwareStrong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, remote environmentPrior hospitality, hotel, or coliving experience is a plus, as is familiarity with mid-term rental or multifamily operationsCollege degree or equivalent required; hospitality or customer service training/certification is an asset
