About Company
Company gives gig workers transparency, profit, and security. We grew past 160k subscribers in Brazil and are now moving our US operation from planning into execution. This is a content hire for that phase. The role is fully remote, working with our distributed team and creating exclusively for the American market.
The Role
We are hiring an ultra-senior, "supercharged" Video Editor and Content Creator who combines top-tier technical editing craft with an advanced, sharp product/content mindset. This role is 100% dedicated to the US expansion.
You must be deeply immersed in North American internet culture and trends. This is not a role for a traditional, passive editor; we need a professional with a startup mentality who breathes content data, understands what makes a hook land, and knows how to visually engage our specific target audiences—primarily US rideshare and gig drivers (including American, Hispanic, and Brazilian driver personas).
What You'll Own
- End-to-End Short-Form Production: Edit and produce high-volume, high-impact short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) tailored to US gig drivers, from raw material to final cut.
- Paid Media Creatives: Produce and rapidly iterate on video creatives running in US paid media campaigns, working in direct alignment with our US traffic agency to optimize conversion.
- Data & Retention-Driven Iteration: Proactively analyze video performance data, read retention curves, identify drops in viewership, and implement lightning-fast edits to improve metrics.
- Influencer Direction & Scripting: Identify key US driver-creators/influencers, brief them on raw footage needs, co-create scripts, and direct them to ensure the content matches ongoing US feed trends.
- AI-Accelerated Workflow: Utilize cutting-edge AI and modern editing tools (for captions, animations, sound design, and formatting) to achieve extreme output speed and agility without losing a native, human touch.
- Autonomy in the Pipeline: Own the US video pipeline entirely, ensuring content ships smoothly without technical or operational bottlenecks.
How the Role Works with the Team
- You own US content editing, production, and the data-driven read on what performs in the US market (organic and paid).
- US Operations Lead: Sets core operational priorities, campaign milestones, and market deadlines.
- US Community & Content Strategist: Sets overall US content strategy; you execute and build creative assets against it.
- Social Media Lead: Manages feed operations (calendar, posting, captions); you collaborate closely on format proposals and market-fit.
- US Driver-Creators & Influencers: Your direct line for sourcing raw material, perspective, and collaborative production.
What We're Looking For
- Location & Overlap: Fully remote from Brazil, working with a startup pace and maintaining fluid communication with our team.
- US Market Fluency (Strict Requirement): Native or near-native command of US English, with a deep understanding of US internet culture, idioms, humor, timing, and local gig-worker nuances.
- Senior Experience: Around 10 years of experience in video editing/content creation, demonstrating a proven track record of content that performed and high professional accountability.
- Startup & Testing Mindset: Comfortable with rapid experimentation, high volume, constant A/B testing, and pivoting based on data.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced video editing skills, shortcuts, and an optimized setup built for high-speed delivery.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience creating content or marketing assets for US mobility/gig brands (e.g., Uber, Lyft) or tech startups entering the US market.
- Background in analyzing digital consumer behavior or advanced social media retention analytics.
