- Solid experience as a Shopify Developer
- Must possess strong experience and proficiency with responsive web design and mobile optimization
- Must possess strong experience and proficiency with theme development and customization in the Shopify ecosystem
- Must possess strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Must possess strong experience with version control system Git for collaborative development
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions and project management, as well as problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and customization requests
Preferred
- Experience and proficiency with API Integration would be highly preferred (to integrate with 3PL WMS and ERP)
Shopify Developer job responsibilities:
- Develop and customize e-commerce websites using the Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with designers to implement custom themes and layouts.
- Optimize websites for performance, security, and discoverability.
- Debug and troubleshoot Shopify-based issues and integrations.
- Stay updated with Shopify's features and updates.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance e-commerce functionality.
Experience:
- Proficiency in the Shopify tech stack for generic and enterprise-level projects.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with theme development and customization in the Shopify ecosystem.
- Ability to integrate with WMS/3PL and ERP
- Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile optimization.
- Version control system Git for collaborative development.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and project management.
- Problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and customization requests.
- Commitment to staying updated with Shopify's latest features and enhancements.
