Role Description
We are looking for a motivated Junior OT & Industrial Networking Engineer to join Autech Dynamics for a long-term international assignment based in Shanghai, China.
This role is ideal for recently graduated engineers or professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are looking to accelerate their careers in Industrial Automation, OT Networking, and global industrial operations.
The position involves frequent international travel to industrial customer sites worldwide, supporting activities such as:
- Industrial network commissioning and troubleshooting
- OT infrastructure support
- Siemens PCS7 and SCADA environments
- Industrial switch and firewall configuration
- Virtualized industrial systems
- FAT/SAT support and machine shutdown activities
- Remote and onsite technical support
- Collaboration with international engineering teams
This is a highly practical field-engineering role, not an office-only engineering position.
What We Are Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Recently graduated or up to 3 years of professional experience
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Strong interest in Industrial Networking and OT Systems
- Availability for frequent international travel
- Valid passport
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to learn
Nice to Have
- Mandarin language skills
- Knowledge of:
- Siemens PLC/SCADA systems
- Industrial Ethernet
- Profinet / Profibus
- VMware / virtualization
- Firewalls and network segmentation
- OT Cybersecurity concepts
