Long-Form/Senior Video Editor

Our client is a growing marketing agency serving flight schools across the U.S., building a stronger content-driven brand around aviation marketing and business growth. They're looking for a Long-Form Video Editor to turn founder-recorded footage into polished, engaging YouTube content with strong storytelling and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Edit founder-led long-form YouTube content (approximately 30–45 minutes of raw footage per video)Improve pacing, structure, storytelling, and viewer retentionRemove unnecessary repetition and weak sectionsFollow scripts, storyboards, and creative direction from the Content StrategistWork directly with the strategist on edits and revisionsMaintain a consistent visual and storytelling styleDeliver approximately 1 long-form video per week
Requisitos
Experience editing long-form YouTube or talking-head contentStrong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and retentionAbility to turn raw founder footage into engaging business or educational contentStrong attention to detailAbility to follow a specific creative reference and styleComfortable working remotely and collaborating with a strategist

Someone who thrives on shaping raw, unscripted footage into a clear narrative — not just cutting clips, but making editorial decisions about what stays and what goes. They're comfortable taking direction from a Content Strategist while still bringing their own editorial judgment to pacing and structure. Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to maintain a consistent style across a recurring weekly deliverable.
