Salary range: R$ 7.100 a R$ 10.800/mês + benefícios (bônus anual, assistência médica e odontológica 100% custeadas pela empresa, seguro de vida, vale refeição e auxílio home office).
Position Summary
Collaborate with demand and supply planning leaders, commercial and product teams to build and continuously update a comprehensive, unconstrained 12-month demand and supply forecast. Aggregate all sources of demand and provide prioritized demand data as input to the supply planning global process .Address purchase order delays, monitor production and inventory activities, and utilize tools such as MRP and capacity models to align service level, production plans and inventory targets with business objectives. Develop and implement inventory strategies that balance profit, service, and cost.
Position Scope
The position will be located in Brazil with a LATAM responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the unconstrained demand and supply analysis and prioritization process for the area/site assigned. This role must be agnostic to competing interests of different regions or business units in the Company.
- Ensure Demand and Supply meetings are scheduled, analysis is complete, conclusions and outputs are sufficient to communicate the monthly plan during the Demand and Executive agreement reviews including follow-up actions are published.
- Align the unconstrained demand profile and process in accordance with the expectations of the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
- Develop, track and improve agreed KPIs to achieve business goals and objectives (SMOG, OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Backlog, SKUs turn over, overstock and shortages others).
- Develop effective analysis tools and models based on industry trends and demand and supply patterns, to predict future events associated with the products and services offered and collaborate with responsible commercial demand collection individuals.
- Work hand in hand with the Commercial and Customer Service team, to challenge and reach agreements regarding the estimation of future sales. Serve as a challenge partner, asking the question what would happen if? to propose alternative demand scenarios.
- Monitor the accuracy of the commercial forecast vs actual sales performance.
- Communicate the prioritized demand forecast to all functions (commercial, supply chain, operations, procurement, finance and customer service).
- Analyze and anticipate market trends and new products to ensure the forecast is accurate to achieve sales goals.
- Analyze and release suggested purchase orders based on MRP process. (considering the On Hand Inventory, lead time, safety stock, the demand plan, others).
- Analyze and issue suggested production jobs based on MRP process (considering the On Hand Inventory, lead time, safety stock, the demand plan, others).
- Report and recommend changes in inventory parameters based on what has been observed and/or discussed with planning, manufacturing and suppliers: changes in lead times, MOQs (minimum order quantities), MTO/MTS ratings, adjustments in safety stocks, etc.
- Support other initiatives and requirements.
Education & Experience:
Education:
- Engineering, Administration, Finance. Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields.
Experience: Required 5 years of general experience, 2 years of specific experience
