We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Case Manager to join our growing legal team in the Pre-Litigation Department. This is a fully remote opportunity for a professional with a strong background in personal injury case management, medical records coordination, and client communication.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution, preparing demand packages, coordinating with medical providers, and supporting successful case outcomes. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through settlement or referral to litigation.Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and collecting required documentation.Request, track, review, and follow up on medical records, medical bills, liens, and police reports.Coordinate with medical providers regarding treatment progress, outstanding balances, and gaps in care.Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance carriers.Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters under attorney supervision.Ensure case files, documentation, and case management software are updated accurately.Monitor case deadlines, treatment progress, and statute of limitations requirements.Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to prepare files for litigation when necessary.Provide administrative and case management support to the pre-litigation team.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Case Manager in Personal Injury Law.Proven experience handling personal injury cases during the pre-litigation phase.Strong experience obtaining, organizing, and reviewing medical records, medical bills, and liens.Experience preparing demand packages and assisting with settlement negotiations.Solid understanding of personal injury pre-litigation processes and workflows.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, medical providers, and insurance companies.Bilingual English and Portuguese.
