A rapidly growing technology consulting organization is seeking a Senior AI Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents that automate complex business processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who can bridge operational workflow design with applied AI engineering, taking ownership of projects from process discovery through production deployment.
The ideal candidate will analyze current-state business operations, redesign workflows for automation, architect multi-agent systems, and build scalable solutions on Azure. This role requires strong technical execution, business-process reengineering expertise, and the ability to independently deliver reliable, cost-effective AI solutions in production environments.
Requisitos
- Proven experience building AI agents from scratch using modern coding-agent tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or similar frameworks
- Strong understanding of agent orchestration, including multi-agent systems, tool usage, retrieval, memory management, state handling, and agent coordination
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Azure Container Apps and/or Azure Function Apps
- Ability to map, analyze, and redesign business processes for automation opportunities
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to identify and implement workflow improvements
- Expertise in model selection, cost optimization, latency management, and AI system performance tuning
- Strong software engineering skills using Python and/or TypeScript
- Experience building APIs, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and production-ready applications
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, error handling, evaluation frameworks, and AI guardrails
- Ability to work independently and deliver solutions with minimal supervision
Bonus Skills
- Experience with agent evaluation and observability platforms, including tracing and prompt/version management
- Background in management consulting, operations, or business-process reengineering
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, and related Azure ecosystem tools
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms such as CRM, ERP, ticketing, or data warehouse systems
- Prior experience in professional-services, consulting, or client-delivery environments
- Experience designing scalable multi-agent ecosystems and orchestration layers
- Portfolio of production AI-agent deployments, demos, repositories, or technical write-ups
