Deepsee Commerce is a boutique Amazon agency helping established brands grow through the combination of strategic advertising, performance content, in-house analytics, disciplined execution, catalog health, and operational excellence.
We work with brands selling on Amazon and help them improve traffic, conversion, organic ranking, profitability, and operational performance.
Deepsee is building a more disciplined and scalable operating system across Brand Management, Catalog, Advertising, and Creative. This role is central to that next stage.

We are hiring a Director of Brand Services to lead client outcomes across Deepsee’s Brand Services function.
This is a senior leadership role reporting to the CEO. You will oversee the people, priorities, and workflows responsible for Brand Management, Catalog, Advertising, and Creative. You will be accountable for turning client goals into clear strategy, structured execution, and measurable progress.
This is not a basic Amazon account manager role.
This is not a narrow PPC role.
This is not a catalog admin role.
This is not a passive client services role.
The right person understands Amazon deeply enough to lead across multiple connected growth levers: advertising, organic ranking, inventory availability, catalog health, listing content, creative, conversion, margin, and operational execution.
You do not need to be the hands-on specialist in every function, but you do need to understand each function well enough to challenge weak plans, guide prioritization, identify risks early, and ensure client-facing recommendations are grounded in reality.
This role requires strategic judgment, operational discipline, team leadership, client relationship ownership, and the ability to turn ambiguity into accountable execution.
What You’ll Own
You will lead the Brand Services function across Brand Management, Catalog, Advertising, and Creative.
This includes:
- Leading Brand Managers and functional managers with clear priorities, expectations, and accountability
- Managing the operating cadence for the Brand Services team, including weekly syncs, documented decisions, visible ownership, and project management discipline
- Serving as the senior relationship owner for a defined set of priority client accounts
- Translating client business goals into actionable initiative pipelines across advertising, content, catalog, creative, and operations
- Ensuring client communication is accurate, internally aligned, feasible, and tied to clear owners before it is shared externally
- Guiding Amazon strategy across advertising, organic ranking, content, catalog structure, inventory priorities, and operational execution
- Reviewing and challenging plans before they reach the client
- Identifying delivery risks, performance patterns, workload gaps, client retention risks, and team accountability issues early
- Improving SOPs, workflows, quality gates, escalation paths, and accountability systems across Brand Services
- Helping Deepsee build a stronger, more scalable operating rhythm as the company continues to mature

Required Experience
Please only apply if you meet most of the following requirements:
- 5+ years of Amazon marketplace experience
- 4+ years of Amazon agency-side or multi-brand marketplace experience
- 2+ years managing or leading cross-functional Amazon teams
- Experience overseeing or supporting multiple Amazon brands at the same time
- Strong working knowledge of Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
- Strong understanding of Amazon advertising, organic ranking, listing content, catalog health, inventory availability, conversion, and profitability
- Experience owning or supporting senior client relationships
- Experience reviewing strategy and execution across multiple functions, not just executing tasks yourself
- Experience building or improving workflows, SOPs, accountability systems, reporting rhythms, or team operating cadences
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Ability to work directly with U.S.-based leadership and clients
- Comfort working remotely as part of a high-accountability team
Strong Candidates Will Have

- Leading Amazon strategy across advertising, catalog, content, inventory, and ranking
- Managing or mentoring Brand Managers, Account Managers, Advertising Managers, Catalog Specialists, Creative Managers, or Content teams
- Working with established brands, not only small sellers
- Handling client pressure without overpromising
- Translating messy client problems into clear internal execution plans
- Knowing when to escalate risks before they become failures
- Understanding Amazon performance through both strategic and operational lenses
- Using tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, SmartScout, Data Dive, Keepa, Seller Central reports, Amazon Brand Analytics, or similar platforms
